Common sense

This stuff's fantastic. These are all bits of knowledge from "teach open mind" (http://commonsense.media.mit.edu/cgi-bin/random.cgi.

Open Mind is a project to acquire a large number of raw facts as part of an effort to develop an AI with common sense. The source for these facts? you and me, submitting them over the internet. So Open Mind prompts you somehow (e.g. "What's the difference between patio doors and electric pencil sharpeners?") and you answer ("umm. shit. that's a tough one.")

so all these quotes below are real life facts people have 'taught' the AI to help it make its way through the world. some of them are really poignant ('Lonelyness would make you want to take a phone call') makes me want to give the guy a hug, some are just funny... lots would make good song titles.
